Free Walks and Hikes

 

Studio Walks

Join us for your fitness walks through the local Oakville trails!  Renew your spirit, exercise your heart and lungs and condition your whole body in the great outdoors. Group walks may include gait training, resistance training and/or Pilates depending on the day and group. (See chart below)

 

Group discussions are lively with entertaining topics of the day. We generally have a 10 minute French lesson and some choral singing along the way.

Hiking the escarpment region of Halton is fascinating and exhilarating in the fresh outdoors. Discover the beauty of our homeland area in the company of others.  Bring your own lunch.

 

 We will visit a different park every third Tuesday of each month.  For the TBA dates, please let us know where you would like to go.  Call the studio to reserve your spot. Details are below:

Walking Fundamentals of Walking Monday 10:30 AM 1 1/2 hours
  Fast paced / Hills (resistance training component 15 min) Wednesday 9:00 AM 1 1/2 hours
Hiking Halton Regional Parks Every Third Tuesday 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM 5 hours
